About the Role This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care and inpatient consult/rounding. Working closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow APPs, the APP provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of adult GI patients. 32 clinical hours 8 administrative hours per week Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. No weekends Adult patient population only What You’ll Do Manage an outpatient panel of GI patients Perform inpatient rounding and consultations with physician support Evaluate, diagnose, and treat GI conditions; order and interpret tests Coordinate discharges, follow‑up plans, and patient education Collaborate with physicians, APP colleagues, nursing, and support teams What We’re Looking For Required Licensed NP or PA in New York State (or eligibility to obtain) Eligible for DEA registration in NY Ability to obtain CVPH privileges Strong communication skills and patient‑centered approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Gastroenterology or acute care experience Why Plattsburgh?
