Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and engaging children during daily activities, playtime, and learning sessions
- Support classroom management and behavior guidance to foster a safe and respectful environment
- Help with diapering, feeding, and nap routines for infants and toddlers
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns
- Support children with special needs or disabilities as required, ensuring inclusive care
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
Skills
- Experience with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable
- Ability to work well with children with disabilities or special needs
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude toward children's emotional and physical needs
