West Shore Lutheran Childcare is seeking a dedicated and responsible Childcare Assistant to support our team in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to child development and care.
Role:
- Assist lead teachers with daily routines and activities
- Create a welcoming and nurturing environment for children
- Support children during play, meals, naps, and transitions
- Encourage positive social and emotional development
- Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Help children with daily needs, feeding, diapering, etc.
- Previous childcare experience or relevant training is preferred (but not required)
