Job Summary
UTC RETAIL is an extremely dynamic company supporting the Retail industry.
We are seeking an Accounting and Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position as a member of the Finance Department. This individual will be a key resource in supporting the day-to-day business transactions of the company, providing financial, customer support, and administrative assistance.
Position is based on-site in the UTC RETAIL offices in Victor, NY (not a remote position).

Responsibilities and Duties
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Process customer invoices and credits for all sites. Resolve related inquiries and perform collections on unpaid customer invoices.
- Process supplier invoices and expenses, matching purchase order and receiving documentation, or obtaining approvals and assigning proper ledger account and department coding. Resolve any price or receipt discrepancy in a timely and professional manner
- Process supplier disbursements
- Order entry: includes external customer orders, and internal department transfers. Monitor customer support e-mail for new and open orders to be entered and followed up on
- Quoting: support the creation of sales quotes as needed, to be presented to current and potential customers, and archival of documents to the network
- Create monthly and daily service request orders, and contract orders
- Provide audit support by gathering and organizing necessary documentation
- Calculate and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales and Use Tax filings
- Maintain an orderly financial filing system
- Support Management with general administrative support tasks, and assist with special projects as needed
- Phone coverage: cover UTC RETAIL main phone line, as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum job qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, and 2 years experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and strong data entry skills and document processing skills with close attention to detail
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Teams a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, being highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of departments within the company
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $45,760 - $51,480. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience and geographic location.
