Full-Time Receptionist – Oral Surgery Office
Monday-Friday 8-4/9-5
We are a professional and patient-focused oral surgery practice seeking a receptionist to join our team. This role is an important part of our front office, providing critical support to our clinical staff and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for our patients.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, personable, and dependable—someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and is committed to making daily operations easier for both patients and the team. A strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to help wherever needed are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer and route phone calls appropriately
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using medical scheduling software (training provided)
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document scanning, and maintaining accurate records
- Manage the front desk and keep the reception area clean and well-stocked
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing questions and resolving minor issues efficiently
- Restock bathrooms with necessary supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap)
- Assist with light cleaning duties, including the patient restroom and breakroom
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Administrative experience with strong organizational abilities
- Accurate data entry and typing skills
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and calendar management
- Ability to manage front desk responsibilities independently and efficiently
Preferred:
- Dental or oral surgery office experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with medical or dental scheduling software is a plus (training will be provided)

Please Note: This is a full-time position, typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with hours generally falling between 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Some flexibility may be required if patients are scheduled earlier in the day. Occasional coverage at our Orem location may also be needed.
