UST is searching for a Senior Architect with expertise in AWS cloud, Kubernetes/Docker containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
The Opportunity
What You Need
Role Location: Texas
Compensation Range: $92,000-$138,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
UST is searching for a Senior Architect with expertise in AWS cloud, Kubernetes/Docker containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
The Opportunity
- Lead design and scaling of Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, and microservices applications.
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS with strong focus on CI/CD, DevOps, and automation.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, observability, and manage vendor integrations.
- Mentor engineers, enforce code quality, and promote best practices.
- Align technical execution with product roadmaps and business goals.
What You Need
- 12 years in backend engineering (Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST, microservices).
- Proficient with databases (Postgres, MySQL), Kafka streaming, and observability tools.
- Proven leadership in agile teams with mentoring experience.
- Skilled in managing technical dependencies, vendors, and cross-team collaboration.
- Preferred:
- Experience in FinTech, Auto Finance, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with ML/LLM production integration.
- Involvement in product backlog and release planning.
