We are seeking a seasoned WebSphere Commerce Developer who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with proven leadership capability. You bring deep experience in building and maintaining enterprise‑grade, distributed eCommerce applications and are comfortable guiding teams through complex development lifecycles.
The Opportunity

Role Location: Texas
Compensation Range: $81,000-$122,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

You Are
We are seeking a seasoned WebSphere Commerce Developer who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with proven leadership capability. You bring deep experience in building and maintaining enterprise‑grade, distributed eCommerce applications and are comfortable guiding teams through complex development lifecycles.
The Opportunity
- Design, develop, and lead enterprise‑scale eCommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce
- Work in a distributed application environment delivering high‑quality J2EE‑based applications
- Lead development efforts and contribute to architecture and design decisions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders across the organization
- Drive projects through a formal software development lifecycle while mentoring team members.
What You Need
- 5 years of experience with web/UI development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and distributed application environments
- 5 years of J2EE development on IBM WebSphere Commerce
- 2 years of experience leading development efforts on major projects
- Strong hands on experience with Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, Web Services, SOAP, and XML
- Experience with at least one major database (DB2, MS SQL Server, or Oracle)
- Solid understanding of object oriented design and UML
- Proven ability to deliver projects through a formal SDLC
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management
- Highly organized, detail oriented, self motivated, and able to work under pressure
- Experience with DB2 and/or MS SQL Server
- Knowledge of IBM development tools
- Prior eCommerce and SOA experience
