Job Title: AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

Location: Plano, TX Onsite

Duration: 12 Months W2 Contract

Job Summary

Experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures on AWS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and improvements.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams.
• Support migration of on-premises applications to AWS cloud.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in cloud computing, with strong expertise in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
• EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system design principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
