Power Lab Teacher - Bradley Elementary, 2026/27 SY
Purpose: To work with students who need additional support in reading and mathematics, providing individualized and small-group instruction to help them meet grade-level expectations and achieve academic success. This role requires a strong understanding of literacy and math instruction and the ability to assess, plan, and deliver targeted interventions.

Required Qualifications
- University degree in Elementary Education
- Valid Kansas Teaching License
- Health and Innoculation Certificate on file in the District Office (after an employment offer is made)
- Master's Degree in the field of education
- Three-plus years of certified teaching experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster a positive learning environment

- Conduct instructional programs in a manner consistent with the curricular objectives of the course

- Assess students’ academic needs in reading and mathematics through testing, observations, and data analysis
- Develop and implement individualized or small-group instruction to support struggling students
- Provide targeted Tier 3 interventions aligned with current best practices in literacy and mathematics education
- Monitor and track student progress regularly, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure continuous growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to ensure students' academic needs are met
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessments, interventions, and communication with families
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to stay current with educational strategies and practices
- Conduct tasks such as planning, grading, and parent communications
- Undertake efforts that promote professional growth in alignment with the District’s vision, mission, and goals
- Report all cases of suspected child abuse or neglect
- Observe, enforce, and is directed by the policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the school district
- Regular and consistent attendance at work
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to enter data into a computer, to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids
- Ability to hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels, outdoors and on the telephone
- Ability to speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms, outdoors and on the telephone
- Physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and 50 pounds to waist height
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk and reach overhead
