Surgical Scrub Technologist (Mid-Shift)

Shift: 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM (8-Hour Shifts)

Status: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week

Location: Operating Room

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Tech for a permanent mid-shift position. This role is critical to our midday surgical flow, requiring a professional who can maintain a sterile environment and anticipate the needs of the surgical team in a fast-paced OR.

Critical Requirement: On-Call & Call-Back

• Mandatory Call: This position requires regular on-call and call-back shifts.
• Applicant Note: Participation in the call rotation is a strictly mandatory requirement for this role. Please only apply if you are fully willing and able to accept call-back responsibilities.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are ready for surgery.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating next steps.
• Perform accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments per facility protocol.
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, sterilized, and handled according to safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as an OR Scrub Tech is required.
• Certification: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program; CST preferred.
• Basic Life Support: Current BLS certification required.
• Reliability: Must be able to work the consistent 10:45–19:15 mid-shift schedule.
