Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Drainage Supervisor to oversee and manage all on-site drainage operations for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the industry, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site drainage activities.
- Lead and manage drainage crews, including subcontractors, ensuring accurate reporting of time and adherence to work standards.
- Ensure work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of drainage-related equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Ensure that all crew members are in proper attire, which includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), safety vests, and safety glasses as required. Long pants and hard-soled, closed-toe work boots should also be worn, while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
- Maintain clear communication with the project management team and clients.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress, crew hours, and equipment usage.
- Identify and promptly resolve on-site issues effectively.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in drainage and site work, with strong knowledge of related processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, equipment, and tools, often weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
- Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving around job sites, often on uneven or rough terrain.
- Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching: Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching to install drainage components and work in confined spaces.
- Climbing: Ability to climb in and out of trenches, ditches, and other excavated areas safely.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle and operate tools, equipment, and machinery with precision and control.
- Vision: Adequate vision to read site plans, operate machinery, and ensure proper alignment and installation of drainage systems.
- Hearing: Ability to hear and respond to instructions, machinery sounds, and safety alerts on the job site.
- Outdoor Work: Willingness and capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Physical Stamina: Sustained physical effort over extended periods, including working long hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
