Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Drainage Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing and maintaining drainage systems on construction sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Install various drainage systems, including French drains, catch basins, and storm-water management systems.
- Read and interpret site plans and blueprints to determine the best drainage solutions.
- Set up lasers, shoot grade, and set grade stakes accurately; read and understand construction grade stakes and related mathematics.
- Operate heavy machinery such as trenchers and backhoes to prepare sites and install drainage components.
- Ensure proper slope and alignment for effective water flow and system performance.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of installed drainage systems.
- Take initiative and collaborate effectively with the Field Supervisor and team members to assist with other tasks as needed to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety vests, glasses, long pants, and hard sole/close-toed work boots. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in site drainage installation or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, equipment, and tools, often weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
- Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving around job sites, often on uneven or rough terrain.
- Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching: Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching to install drainage components and work in confined spaces.
- Climbing: Ability to climb in and out of trenches, ditches, and other excavated areas safely.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle and operate tools, equipment, and machinery with precision and control.
- Vision: Adequate vision to read site plans, operate machinery, and ensure proper alignment and installation of drainage systems.
- Hearing: Ability to hear and respond to instructions, machinery sounds, and safety alerts on the job site.
- Outdoor Work: Willingness and capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Physical Stamina: Sustained physical effort over extended periods, including working long hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
