Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Supervisor (Grading & Site Work) to oversee and manage on-site operations for our grading and site work projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the industry, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site grading and site work activities.
- Lead and manage grading and site work crews, including subcontractors.
- Ensure work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of grading and sitework equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations & company policies.
- Ensure that all crew members are in proper attire, which includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), safety vests, and safety glasses as required. Long pants and hard-soled, closed-toe work boots should also be worn, while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
- Maintain clear communication with the project management team and clients.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress, crew hours, and equipment usage.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grading and site work, with strong knowledge of related processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, and moving on uneven terrain
- Ability to climb in and out of equipment, as needed
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Exposure to outdoor conditions, including varying weather and temperatures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and hand tools when necessary
- Capacity to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves, for extended periods
- Ability to work in loud, dusty, and potentially hazardous environments.
Upon offer, employees will be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and MVR check.
