Responsibilities
- Responsible for all day-to-day requisition creation, receiving and invoice review prior to sending to the Director, Technology and IT Infrastructure for purchase and payment of IT Infrastructure software/hardware for USA Health System
- Works closely with the Managers of Technology and IT Infrastructure, Desktop Support and the Strategic Project Management Office (PMO) to create orders which comply with previously agreed upon quotes and contract prices for day-to-day support and projects
- Works with Managers, Technology and IT Infrastructure, Desktop Support and the SPMO to ensure all hardware and software are identified, recommended, documented, communicated, managed and procurement conducted to the standard of strategic sourcing
- Provides vendor evaluation and selection pricing information to the IT managers and PMO for a variety of technical and non-technical products and services requested
- Assists the Administrative Assistant of the IT department with the ordering and procurement of office supplies for the department
- Processes and procures all quotes and purchase orders for the day-to-day hardware/software operational needs of the Desktop Support
- Enters quotes in Premier to be evaluated and approved the Director, Technology IT Infrastructure
- Processes, procures, and assesses all project software/hardware quotes with the Director, Technology and IT Infrastructure
- Keep inventory of all hardware/software for projects and day-to-day operations assets managed by HSIS Technology and IT Infrastructure department for USA Health
- Ensures all requisitions are proceeded to the proper FOAPAL of the department or capital project expensing the cost of the hardware/software before submitting to the Director, Technology and IT Infrastructure for approval
- Ensures all invoices for Sunrise Network Solutions (SNS) are entered Into Premier and associated to the proper FOAPAL of the department or capital project expensing the cost networking services provided before submitting to the Director, Technology and IT Infrastructure for approval
- Provides monthly reports on the Inventory levels of day-to-day hardware on the self for the Desktop Support department to the Director, Technology and IT Infrastructure
- Provides monthly assessment on areas of concern with the hardware Inventory managing and tracking procedures of the Desktop Support department to the Director, Technology and IT Infrastructure
- Provides monthly assessment report to the Manager. Desktop Support and Director, Technology and IT Infrastructure
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
- Related duties as required.

- Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree computer science, biomedical sciences or related field as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and 2 years related experience Required OR
- Bachelor's Degree computer science, biomedical sciences or related field. Required
- Experience in procurement, biomed, or IT support is highly Preferred
- Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
