JOB SUMMARY

Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller in ensuring the accurate and effective operation of the accounting function. Responsible for various accounting and clerical functions, including special projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.

• Processes expense reports and invoices

• Assists with preparation and input of Journal Entries

• Inputs and submits weekly and monthly packages

• Performs internal contract compliance / pricing audits

• Sets up new vendors and completes change of vendors in the system as needed

• Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS
Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting Preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Accounting

Professional Skills

• Strong 10-key and data entry, intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication, basic math skills.

• Experience with the AS400/Infinium systems a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
