What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Associate – Invoicing & Inquiries (PTP) position at US Tech Solutions?
Duration: 9 Months Contract with possible extension
What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?
- PO and invoice monitoring, working in ques to review invoices, we use Servicenow for tickets dealing with invoice related tickets or payments/PO related questions such as a How to question about an Ariba PO and how to correct.
- We require prior accounts payable experience, will consider 1 years experience.
- AP skills – understanding of PO’s and how they are utilized, invoice evaluation and management, Basic Excel skills as they may need to do basic spreadsheet analysis so experience with how to manipulate a spreadsheet with formulas or vlookups is very helpful.
- Customer service is key for this role, should be capable of handling triage with employees of all levels within the organization.
- Good communication skills are necessary for written/verbal, and may need to be able to prioritize and escalate triage as needed.
What are the TOP Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered?
- Bachelor's Degree (or comparable experience) in Accounting or Finance Accounts Payable or Customer Service Experience Experienced in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Nice to Have:
- Excel skills as they may need to do basic spreadsheet analysis so experience with how to manipulate a spreadsheet with formulas or vlookups is very helpful. SAP Ariba is a nice to have. Oracle is a nice to have. We also use SAP enterprise for all invoicing/payments, so any experience with SAP is very helpful.
