US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Registered Nurse to join our team at Heartland Cardiology in Wichita, KS,
Responsibilities
- Conducts patient assessments including physical exams and health histories.
- Administers medications and vaccinations.
- Monitors chronic conditions and provides management strategies.
- Educates patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Coordinates with physicians to deliver integrated care.
- Maintains accurate patient records and charts.
- Follows up on patient test results and referrals.
- Manages acute health episodes.
- Provides counseling and support to patients and families.
- Advocates for patients’ health needs.
- Implements infection control protocols.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree from an accredited Nursing program with a current unrestricted State Nursing (RN) license.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- CLIA II Waived Analyzers certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting.
