Pipefitters

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems, including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water lines
• Read and interpret blueprints and project submittals
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines
• Work independently to diagnose and solve problems as they arise
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing and piping systems
• Supervise and instruct plumbing helpers as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
• Safely operate equipment and tools required for the job

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Rigging knowledge preferred
• 5 years of pipefitting experience preferred
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods
• Familiarity with different types of pipe, valves, and fittings and their functions
• Understanding of code requirements and limitations
• Awareness of occupational hazards related to ladders, heat, and noise

Job Requirements & Special Skills

• Must own personal pipefitter hand tools
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Comfortable working in environments with varying heat and cold and noise levels above 90 decibels

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Pipefitter: 1 year (Required)
