MIG Welders 2nd Shift

Looking for experienced MIG Welders to join our fabrication shop. In this role you will work both independently and on a team with minimal supervision. Benefits:  Weekly Pay Schedule: 5:00Pm-3:30Am with OT as necessary Responsibilities:  Weld structural steel members using (MIG) wirefeed processes  Weld in 3G and 4G positions according to safety-oriented procedures  Read welding symbols and understand testing requirements  Follow proper safety instructions  Work in a team environment  Perform other duties as needed by supervision Education Requirements:  Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or related experience as a certified structural steel welder as determined by the plant manager Job Requirements/Special Skills: Specific Structural Welding Skills:  Ability to pass a 3G and 4G weld test using GMAW process on 3/8“ material  Good verbal communication skills with other employees  Positive attitude  Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement  Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements  Ability to read blueprints Specific Physical Skills:  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs  Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary  Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
