Engine Rebuilder – Diesel Engines
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Summary
US Engine Production Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Rebuilder to assemble and rebuild automotive and industrial diesel engines to OEM specifications and company quality standards.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience rebuilding complete diesel engines and working in a production or remanufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, and rebuild diesel engines
- Assemble long blocks and complete engines to specification
- Measure tolerances using micrometers, dial indicators, and precision tools
- Install pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, cylinder heads, bearings, seals, and gaskets
- Set bearing clearances and torque specifications accurately
- Follow build sheets and quality control procedures
- Perform final inspections prior to engine completion
- Maintain clean and organized workstation
- Follow all company safety standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience rebuilding diesel engines (automotive or industrial)
- Strong understanding of engine components and tolerances
- Ability to read and follow assembly specifications
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred:
- Experience with Cummins, Duramax, Caterpillar, Volvo, or other diesel platforms
- Experience in a remanufacturing or production environment
