Position Summary
US Engine Production Inc. is seeking a dependable General Automotive Laborer to assist with engine disassembly, cleaning, parts handling, and general shop support in our diesel engine remanufacturing facility.
This position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who wants to grow in the automotive or diesel industry.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with engine disassembly and teardown
- Clean engine blocks, cylinder heads, and components
- Organize and label engine parts
- Assist machinists and engine builders as needed
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Load and unload engine components using hoists
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company procedures and safety standards
- Perform other shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions
Preferred (but not required):
- Automotive or diesel shop experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Forklift experience
Training provided for the right candidate.
