Administrative Assistant
Field projects move faster when the office details are right. UrbanVest Resources is hiring an Administrative Assistant for its St. Louis team to organize schedules, project documents and everyday communication supporting environmental work across the area.
You do not need previous environmental experience. The company will explain the services, terminology and document process during onboarding. What matters most is that you can keep information organized, communicate professionally and follow a task through to completion.
The position
The Administrative Assistant works from the St. Louis office and supports project managers and field employees. You will help maintain the administrative trail behind each project, including appointments, reports, purchase information and customer correspondence.
What stays on your desk
- Coordinate calendars, meetings and field visit schedules.
- Prepare routine emails, letters, forms and project folders.
- Enter job details, dates and status updates into the internal system.
- Check that required documents have been received and follow up on missing items.
- Answer office calls and route technical questions to the appropriate colleague.
- Maintain supplier, customer and project contact information.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoice records and basic spreadsheet tracking.
- Help prepare completed files for internal review and secure storage.

Hours pay and progress
This is a full-time weekday role paying $23.00-$26.00 per hour. Benefits include paid training, paid time off, paid holidays and eligibility for health, dental and vision insurance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
As your understanding grows, there may be opportunities to support larger projects or develop toward project coordination. Any increase in responsibility will be based on performance and operational need.
