Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, ensuring satisfaction with their meals and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
- Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha or OpenTable for order management.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and billing purposes.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
