Responsibilities
- Take and accurately process food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring swift and precise transactions.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
- Support catering events, banquets, or nightclub service by setting up stations, serving guests professionally, and ensuring smooth operation throughout the event.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and uphold a lively atmosphere that encourages guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining experience or banquet experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to engage diverse guests effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate bill calculation.
- Experience working in nightclubs or retail environments within the food industry is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for sales totals, change handling, and inventory counts.
