Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated doggie daycare attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dogs and their health. This role involves providing supervision and support to daycare dogs in an indoor and outdoor facility. ***Must have experience with dog body language***
Must be 18 or older to apply, aka out of high school
Monday-Friday
Need to have open flexibility with hours. Some morning shifts and some afternoons, as well as weekends and holidays
Duties:
-Supervise dog interactions
- Interact with animals to provide socialization and enrichment
- Do crafts and activities with the daycare dogs
- Observe and report behavioral and/or health issues
- Experience or knowledge of dog body language
-Take care of animals boarding ( clean kennels, feed, take outside)
- Attention to detail
-Strong work ethic and ability to work quickly
- Affection and care for the animals and their welfare
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs for short distances
-Ability to work in a kennel environment, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Familiarity with social media such as Snapchat
