As a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Compliance Officer within the Placement Ready Team, you will play a pivotal role in enabling students to safely and seamlessly transition into real-world placement experiences. Working in a high-performing and inclusive environment, you will ensure compliance processes are accurate, timely and student-focused, contributing to UQ’s commitment to delivering outstanding graduate outcomes. In this dynamic and detail-oriented role, you will: Initiate, monitor and maintain accurate student compliance records for a diverse range of pre-placement requirements across multiple health disciplines, ensuring a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail. Analyse, interpret and report on compliance data using enterprise systems and reporting tools, combining information from multiple sources to support operational excellence, risk management and informed decision-making. Develop and apply specialised knowledge of pre-placement compliance requirements, interpreting complex legislative, policy and procedural requirements to provide clear, accurate and consistent advice to students, staff and placement providers. Maintain current knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements, and effectively manage multiple discipline-specific compliance processes within a high-volume environment. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with academic and professional stakeholders to coordinate processes, negotiate timelines and ensure high-quality service delivery outcomes are achieved. Prepare high-quality written correspondence and respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional, timely and customer-focused manner across multiple communication channels, including face-to-face, phone, video and online platforms. Organise and deliver compliance-related information sessions and provide administrative support for events and operational activities as required. About You You are an organised, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment. With a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to service excellence, you bring both technical capability and interpersonal strength to support students and stakeholders alike.
