This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting commercial leasing operations while working closely with internal real estate, construction, and property management teams. About the Company:
Our client is a New York-based owner and manager with a portfolio of over 4,000 residential units spanning luxury rental and condominium properties in some of NYC’s most sought-after neighborhoods, in addition to a robust retail and office portfolio. The Commercial Leasing Administrator will support approximately 50 retail spaces within the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of commercial lease coordination, including coordination with property managers, tenants, brokers, and internal teams
- Abstract leases, manage lease files, and maintain the property management database (MRI)
- Review lease files to ensure compliance with lease requirements
- Manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Estoppels, and Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment agreements (SNDAs), and communicate with tenants as needed
- Track critical leasing, construction, and operational dates and proactively coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Generate weekly and monthly internal reports
- Serve as the point of contact for commercial tenants regarding lease-related questions
- Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department
- Support the accounting and compliance teams on tenant receivables and lease-related matters
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and handle general inquiries
- Manage executive calendars
- Draft correspondence
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; professional, goal-oriented, organized, and a self-starter
- Fast learner and team player
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate lease coordination or as a paralegal reviewing leases and preparing lease abstracts
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS SharePoint (Excel, Outlook, and Word), systems, and document management
- Experience with MRI is a plus
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
Compensation, Hours, Location:
- Salary range: $90,000–$95,000
