SITE DIRECTOR - AFTERSCHOOL (PART-TIME)

Upper Room KC is hiring a Site Director to lead one of our Afterschool Program locations. This role oversees daily site operations, supervises staff, and ensures a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily afterschool program operations

• Supervise, train, and support youth development staff and volunteers

• Oversee academic enrichment and character-building activities

• Ensure student safety, compliance, and proper staffing ratios

• Monitor student progress and communicate with parents

• Enforce organizational policies and maintain program quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred
  OR 4 years of experience in youth or children’s programs

• 24 semester hours in child-related coursework required

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)

• CPR certified (or willing to obtain)

• Must pass background and child safety screenings
