GLPP Silver Creek is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the delivery of high-quality primary health services to individuals and families in our community. This full-time position will work Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm. No holidays, evenings or weekends are required. Occasional travel to other office locations may be required based on staffing needs.
Eligible candidates may qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $5000 for new graduates and $7500 for experienced nurses.

- Assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing care for patients and their families.
- Possesses the ability to obtain and interpret information considering age specific needs.
- Conducts interviews with patient to answer questions related to healthcare problems and provides necessary counseling utilizing all resource persons and materials available.
- Administers medications and vaccines as ordered by attending physician and keeps abreast of changes in requirements for immunization, flu vaccines and allergy injections.
- Responsible for sterilization of office equipment and ordering of stock supplies and keeps appropriate records of same.
- Performs laboratory duties assuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA.
- Identifies and communicates educational needs of patients to their physician and does teaching in these areas upon his/her request.
- Assists physician in patient examination and performs specialized procedures.
- Maintains competence through participation in continuing education and other appropriate learning experiences with necessary documentation.
