The Lead Human Resources Consultant is responsible for providing leadership and managing the day-to-day work of the Employee Relations team. Additionally, they will be the primary contact for designated departments and will provide employee relations support for those teams.
This is a hybrid position that typically works onsite three days per week. The ideal candidate is experienced in employee relations and knowledgeable of employment law. Additionally, they are a strategic business partner who enjoys collaborating with others.

Responsibilities:
- Participate on local and/or organization wide committees that focus on projects that move the organization towards meeting its strategic goals.
- Independently able to advise all customers on employee relations matters such as reduction in force, disciplinary investigations, grievances, performance improvement plans
- Collaborate with HR team to design and plan interventions that that facilitate organizational changes.
- Lead business unit and system-wide projects and initiatives, lead committees
- Lead and manage the daily work flow and activities for a team of employee relations professionals. Develop and mentor the employee relations staff.
- Collaborate with HR business and operational leaders to identify education gaps and development opportunities for management and employees. Partners with management to provide consultation on coaching and mentorship for staff.
- Partner with leaders to provide and implement HR initiatives that support management and employees across the organization.
- Effectively communicate expectations with the business, operational, and HR partners while promoting a One Team collaborative atmosphere in which all functions of HR work together as one team.
