We are expanding our team and seeking experienced Senior Human Resource Consultants to serve in fractional HR leadership roles for multiple client organizations. Position Summary
The Senior Human Resource Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and fractional HR leader for multiple client organizations. This position supports clients in all major HR functional areas—including strategy development, organizational design, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, compensation, and culture-building.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with a nationally respected consulting team. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available, depending on consultant workload preferences and client demand.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Serve as fractional HR Manager, Director, or CHRO for assigned client organizations.
- Partner with executive leadership to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead HR planning initiatives including workforce planning, culture strategy, succession planning, and organizational development.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide senior-level guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance issues.
- Ensure client adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Develop, review, and implement compliant HR policies and employee handbooks.
Talent Acquisition & Talent Management
- Lead or support talent acquisition strategies, interviewing, and selection for key roles.
- Advise clients on onboarding, training, leadership development, and performance management systems.
- Support coaching and leadership development initiatives as required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Analyze compensation structures and recommend competitive salary, bonus, and benefits strategies.
- Assist clients in implementing equitable, market-aligned compensation programs.
HR Operations & Systems
- Streamline HR processes, workflows, and HRIS utilization.
- Oversee HR metrics, reporting, and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate strong, trusted advisor relationships with CEOs, executive teams, and HR stakeholders.
- Communicate proactively regarding deliverables, timelines, and strategic recommendations.
- Provide a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles.
- Prior consulting or multi-client experience strongly preferred.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalents are highly valued.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HR strategy.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and executive presence.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong commitment to client service, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
