What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paid Media Manager position at Upgrow?
Upgrow is a San Diego–based digital marketing agency built for growth-minded B2B brands. Our mission is simple: to accelerate growth for remarkable brands.
We help companies accelerate revenue through smarter SEO, paid media, and conversion optimization—combining data-driven strategy with creative execution. Our clients who expect real results, not vanity metrics.
What sets us apart? We don’t do fluff. We move fast, think strategically, and deliver measurable results. Every campaign is built around performance, automation, and ROI—not vanity metrics. Our clients partner with us because we act like an extension of their team, not just another vendor.
We’re a smart, small, nimble team where everyone’s work directly impacts client growth and company direction. No bureaucracy, no politics — just smart people who care deeply about the craft of marketing and delivering excellence.
If you love digital growth, continuous learning, and working with ambitious clients—you’ll fit right in at Upgrow.
We’re looking for a Paid Media Manager who is both a strategic thinker and hands-on performance marketer — someone who can own client outcomes end-to-end and use AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and efficiency of their work.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for 5–8 B2B clients, responsible for driving performance, managing relationships, and ensuring high-quality execution across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid channels.
This is not a “set it and forget it” role. You’ll lead strategy, guide execution with support from our specialists team, and ensure clients see Upgrow as an indispensable growth partner.
If you thrive on accountability, love solving performance challenges, and take pride in delivering real business results — this role is for you.
This is a hybrid role based in San Diego, with an expectation of working from our office 3–4 days per week, and 1-2 days per week from home.
