Position Overview
The Navajo Language Program is seeking a motivated, dynamic, and proactive Project Specialist to support a critical initiative focused on developing Navajo language resources for the revised curriculum. This role is vital to ensure the effective execution of our project, acting as a bridge between the Project Lead and various stakeholders. This role is instrumental in the smooth and effective execution of project tasks and events.
Key Responsibilities
- · Scheduling Coordination: Organize and manage schedules for voice talent, cultural storytellers, and curriculum developers to ensure alignment and efficiency in project timelines.
- · Script Management: Provide and manage scripts for all project-related activities, ensuring clarity and cultural authenticity.
- · Logistical Planning: Arrange catering and food services for meetings and recording sessions, facilitating a supportive environment for collaboration.
- · Video Recording Coordination: Oversee video recording sessions, including setup, scheduling, and logistics.
- · Meeting Preparation: Prepare and organize necessary documentation for all meetings, ensuring all participants are equipped with essential materials.
- · Accommodation Arrangements: Ensure proper accommodation arrangements are made for all participants and communicate these details effectively.
- · Invoice Collection: Manage the collection of invoices for services rendered, submitting them on behalf of the Project Manager.
Availability
This position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week with an 8-4 Monday-Friday schedule. Some flexibility in scheduling is essential to accommodate various stakeholders and project activities.
