What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Lead position at UNLV Medicine?
The Accounts Receivable Lead oversees and monitors performance, provides training and coordinates workflow for assigned accounts receivable staff.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years multi-specialty billing in a high volume setting
- 3 years of lead or supervisory experience in healthcare
- 2 years Epic experience
- Payor contractual agreements/fee schedule knowledge
- Intermediate oral and written communication skills required
- Work is multi-tasked with frequent interruptions
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
- Type at least 45 WPM and 10-key proficient
- Computer skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) basic computer knowledge
- Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals
- Positive and professional attitude is expected to be maintained at all times
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- May include standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods
- May include performing repetitive tasks
- May include lifting up to 25 pounds
