Facilities Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, safety, and overall functionality of company facilities, grounds, utilities, and infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day facility operations, coordinating preventative maintenance programs, supervising contractors and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge across facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical maintenance, and building operations, along with proven leadership and troubleshooting abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate general facility maintenance activities including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, utilities, roofing, and housekeeping.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, common areas, offices, landscaping, lighting, and overall facility cleanliness.
- Manage repairs and maintenance activities for facility infrastructure, equipment, and building systems.
- Oversee preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose issues related to HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, and facility infrastructure and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with fire code regulations, fire sprinkler systems, and overall facility safety requirements.
- Complete and maintain accurate service request documentation and maintenance records.
- Ensure all company facilities and grounds are maintained according to company standards.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for company vehicles and fleet equipment.
- Support mechanical and electrical maintenance activities as needed.
- Manage external contractors and vendors providing facility-related services.
- Oversee garbage collection, recycling programs, and waste management operations.
- Manage wastewater permits and prepare monthly county/environmental reports.
- Support and manage facility-related capital improvement projects.
- Uphold BRC Hygiene Standards with a strong focus on product safety and sanitation.
- Support company environmental sustainability and energy management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of successful supervisory experience in facilities maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Management, or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical systems and PLCs
- Carpentry and plumbing
- Welding, machining, and fabrication
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
