Overview
We're hiring a SBA Processor to join our SBA Lending Team.
Responsibilities
Flexibility to float among the administrative functions of the SBA Lending department, including, but not limited to:
Assist SBA Relationship Manager with collection of items needed for application submission to underwriting and organize and label items within SBA-specific 10-tab file structure.
Pre-approval processing of SBA loans for underwriting in collaboration with and at direction of SBA Operations Coordinator, including preparation of SBA forms 1919 and 159, performing CAIVRS and SAM.gov pre-screening verification checks, tax transcript verification, and ordering LexisNexis or other credit reports as needed.
Post-approval processing of the SBA loan for closing in accordance with the signed commitment letter and SBA loan approval, such as ordering searches, IRS verification of tax returns, and file maintenance as needed.
Follow through on post-closing responsibilities of all SBA loan closings by scanning signed loan documents to Synergy and/or loan operations and monitoring SBA post-closing checklist to ensure adherence to the loan approval.
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform Additional Duties As Required
Qualifications
Understanding of the SBA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or prior commercial lending experience preferred.
Ability to act independently in a high-volume environment and complete routine tasks at supervisor’s direction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work within compressed deadlines.
Professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills, positive and professional attitude.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Jack Henry suite, Salesforce, nCino, and regional property search providers preferred.
Wage Range
The salary for this position ranges from $19.00 to $26.63
