What are the responsibilities and job description for the All School Receptionist/Greeter position at University School of Milwaukee Corporation?
General Summary: Serve as University School of Milwaukee’s (USM) primary greeter and receptionist. This individual is responsible for guests’ first impressions, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, parents, and visitors. Ensure outstanding and professional customer service at the forefront of every interaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all incoming students, families, and guests respectfully and professionally, determining their needs and directing them to the proper person or location.
- Answer calls and inquiries in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of providing and creating a positive image and first impression of USM.
- Manage the Darrow Welcome Center and the Lee Community Room to enhance the efficient and inviting use of these facilities.
- Manage the visitor management and registration check-in system according to policy.
- Assist incoming substitute teachers and direct them to the proper division.
- Support Security staff to facilitate response to emergency situations.
- Receive and distribute miscellaneous materials dropped off.
- Be knowledgeable and current on school activities, programs, and events related to the school calendar.
- Support Operations departments and Security Department with administrative tasks.
- Work collaboratively and effectively within the USM administrative support team and USM community at large.
- Manage resources efficiently.
- Perform other duties and administrative tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED minimum.
- Previous experience in a school or non-profit environment is preferred
