Key Job Responsibilities:
The position will work in a collaborative and educational environment to provide customer service and related activities in campus dining operations, following established procedures and best practices to assure high quality dining services. The incumbent will be expected to adapt quickly and effectively to daily changes in business needs including increased & decreased guest count, menu substitutions, staffing needs, customer requests, and more.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, founded in 1866, offers associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degree programs in a broad spectrum of disciplines including: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; criminal justice; education; business; agriculture; and liberal arts. The Platteville campus is located in Southwest Wisconsin's largest community, which has a rich history rooted in mining —particularly lead mining —dating back to the early 19th century. The region offers excellent school systems, high-quality medical and hospital facilities, outstanding recreational opportunities, and vibrant businesses and industries. UW-Platteville serves as a cultural and educational center for the Tri-State region of Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

- Trains and guides student workers.
- Greets customers, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation and associated activities.
- Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.
