applications for a Baker. This position performs a variety of food
preparation activities and is responsible for preparing, baking, and
decorating a variety of baked goods for campus dining locations. This
position supports daily food production by following recipes,
maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring a clean and safe work
environment. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position! The
position will work in a collaborative and educational environment to
provide customer service and related activities in campus dining
operations, following established procedures and best practices to
assure high quality dining services. Key Job Responsibilities: -
Performs baking and related activities - Follows established baking
procedures and best practices to create and serve high quality baked
goods, according to quality and safety standards to ensure customer
satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goals - Prepares a
variety of baked goods including yeast products - Assists and guides
student workers - Assists with recipe and menu development and testing -
Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas -
Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations,
policies, and procedures Required Education H.S. Diploma or GED Required
Skills, Experience, and Certifications/Licensures: At least 1-year prior
food service experience Ability to work a flexible work schedule that
includes evenings, nights, and weekends Experience with Microsoft Office
