Job Purpose
This position directly supports and reports to the director of the University of Success program in facilitating educational programming related to the two week residential summer camp. This position is a temporary, two-week position beginning on July 12, 2026 and ending July 21, 2026.
Essential Duties
Pennsylvania State Police criminal record check, FBI Criminal Background Check (requires fingerprints), and a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance are all required prior to starting the position.
Proof of current BLS/CPR must be submitted
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Middle Level or Secondary Education is required, along with teacher certification in Math or Science.
Preferred Education
Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
One year of teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
Years of Experience: 1
University Classification: Professional
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Schedule/Work Hours: This is a temporary position that runs July 12, 2026 through July 21, 2026.
Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time
Annual Schedule: Temporary

- Aid the director with preparing and executing the 10 day residential summer camp
- Mentor students who are in need of scholastic encouragement
- Integrate curriculum with The University of Success and The University of Scranton mission
- Organize and assist in field experiences and cultural and social trips
- Collect and organize materials from University of Success students
