The School is searching for a Scholarship Coordinator to support the Associate Dean for Strategy in implementing, leading, and managing the School's scholarship processes.
Summary
Essential Functions
The Scholarship & Undergraduate Research Mentorship Coordinator supports students across all School of Nursing programs by managing the lifecycle of scholarship and traineeship awards. This role serves as the primary student-facing contact for scholarship and financial support, ensuring accurate processing, clear communication, and compliance with institutional and federal regulations. The Coordinator chairs the Nursing Scholarship Committee and administers the Undergraduate Research Mentorship Program, including student hiring, mentor matching, and program tracking. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Strategy and collaborates with Alumni Relations & Development, the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, and faculty mentors.

Job Duties
40% - Scholarship Coordination/Administration
- Manage scholarship processes including applications, eligibility review, selection, and award posting
- Maintain systems for application intake, communication, and tracking
- Ensure funds are used according to donor intent and student eligibility
- Maintain accurate records for applications, funding, and awards
- Ensure compliance with university and financial aid regulations
- Reconcile awards and prepare reports for leadership
- Chair the Nursing Scholarship Committee
- Administer traineeship and grant programs including applications, awards, and reporting
- Monitor compliance with funding requirements and track expenditures
- Update materials and communicate deadlines and opportunities
- Prepare award documentation and ensure timely disbursement
- Calculate and apply funding for graduate appointments
- Coordinate Federal Work-Study processes
- Manage the research mentorship program, including hiring, mentor matching, and tracking
- Conduct program assessments and reporting
Matching Funds
- Identify eligible students
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate distribution
- Verify continued eligibility
- Coordinate postings and prepare reports
- Ensure criteria are met
- Apply tuition reductions
- Track and report expenses
- Collect, analyze, and report data on scholarships and programs
- Identify trends and support decision-making
- Support projects and committee work
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Two years of related experience preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and reliability
