Coordinates with the Student Support Services and Financial Aid Coordinators to report on processes required for documentation and student file compliance, student admission requirements, enrollment status changes, and transfer of credit. Works closely with the Student Support Services and Financial Aid Coordinators. Responsible for reporting aspects of new and continuing student enrollment including student file compliance, transcript processing, scheduling, and change of status documentation, attendance records, and grade reports. Ensures that quality services are provided to students, faculty and staff.

Responsibilities:
- Assist management with reports, field questions from the Administration, Finance and Admissions team as needed.
- Verify that education files contain complete and correct documents with regards to compliance.
- Work with admissions, financial aid and student support services counterparts to ensure any academic changes are communicated in a timely manner.
- Collect grade reports from faculty and post grades to UPMC SON transcripts.
- Manage parking accounts & badges for students.
- Build student schedule prior to the term beginning and notify student of new schedule including necessary books or software required for purchase.
- Maintain continuous reporting on graduation percentage and drop rates. Assist with ad hoc reporting needs as requested.
- Complete review of incoming Official Transcripts for Transfer of Credit (TOC) and update the UPMC SON transcript with appropriate transfer courses.
- Routinely audit new student education files for file compliance.
- Perform continuous student outreach for missing Official Transcripts necessary for admissions file completion and financial aid review.
- Collect attendance records from faculty and notify appropriate parties of changes in student attendance.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of administrative experience, OR,
- Bachelor degree and 1 year of administrative experience required.
- Experience in an academic or higher educational environment preferred.
- Previous experience in student financial aid, student records or other student support services area preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work with people from a variety of socio-economic, educational, and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills with student and staff populations.
- Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.
- Ability to interact effectively as either a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
- Ability to listen to customers (e.g. staff, etc.) and to understand and respond positively to their requests.
- Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
