The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of machine learning, computational genomics, and statistical genetics. The candidate will be in a highly collaborative environment at the intersection of population neuroscience and genetic epidemiology in the department and across the university and join a cross-institutional research team focused on neuroscience, aging, and -omics data analysis.

Responsibilities
- Develop and apply innovative machine learning methods for analyzing genetic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and clinical data from epidemiological cohorts.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers to investigate complex biological and epidemiological questions.
- Write up the research findings for publication in top-tier scientific journals and conferences.
- Ph.D. in computer science, statistics, epidemiology, computational genomics, or a related field. Candidates with a PhD in mathematics, physics, and other related areas with strong quantitative skills who are interested in applying their quantitative skills to genetic, genomic, and clinical data analysis are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R (C/C is a plus).
- Prior experience working with genomic and other biological data is preferred but not required.
