Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator
The Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator support student recruitment and outreach efforts for the College of Arts and Sciences (COAS). Based in the Office of Outreach and Interdisciplinary Initiatives (OOII), this position serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families and represents the College at on- and off-campus recruitment activities.
The coordinator plans and implements recruitment events, supports targeted outreach initiatives, and collaborates with campus partners to advance COAS enrollment and engagement goals. As the representative for the College of Arts and Sciences, the Coordinator is responsible for engaging prospective students and their families by showcasing distinctive programs, people, and opportunities.
Participation in high school visits, industry events, on-campus activities, and targeted outreach campaigns will be essential to facilitating the discovery of UNF and COAS by future student leaders.
Job Functions
Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
Preferred Qualifications
This position requires occasional travel and may involve evening and weekend hours to support recruitment events, outreach activities, and college programming. Scheduling flexibility is expected as business needs, event calendars, and recruitment cycles may vary throughout the year.
The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

Job Functions
- Provides recruitment guidance and general information to prospective students and families about COAS programs.
- Serve as a liaison to high school counselors, communitybased organizations, and business partners to support recruitment and outreach efforts.
- Coordinates and attends high school visits, industry engagement opportunities relevant to student recruitment, and offcampus outreach events to promote COAS.
- Plans and organizes oncampus recruitment events, including orientation sessions, information sessions, open houses, college tours, information fairs, and other recruitmentfocused programming, both for groups and individuals.
- Lead or coordinate volunteers or student envoys during recruitment and outreach activities.
- Provides referrals to appropriate student services such as orientation, academic advising, and financial aid for prospective students following admission.
- Coordinates with Enrollment Services, advising units, departments, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely communication throughout the recruitment and admissions process.
- Tracks engagement data and event outcomes to help assess recruitment impact and inform future outreach strategies.
- Collaborates with the COAS Communications and Engagement team to support recruitmentfocused marketing campaigns, including coordination of print, digital, and video collateral and digital presence aligned with outreach and enrollment goals.
- Coordinates messaging and outreach efforts with college and university partners to promote COAS programs, events, and recruitment activities, including targeted communications and digital engagement.
- Assists in the development of targeted outreach efforts, particularly for specific degree programs or population segments.
- Lifting boxes or materials more than 20 pounds.
- Represent the College and/or OOII at various internal and external events.
- During declared campus emergencies, may be required to perform specific job-related duties at a designated off-campus location or place of residence.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience in higher education student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, or a similar student-facing role.
- Experience conducting independent outreach at high school visits, college fairs, or similar events, including engagement with counselors and community partners.
- Experience independent planning and executing events such as open houses, info sessions, campus tours, online recruiting events, community outreach programs, or similar engagement activities.
- Experience collaborating with a marketing or communications team on c mpaigns, promotional content, or similar initiatives.
- Experience collecting and interpreting data to inform program planning, organizational strategy, or similar decision-making processes.
- Familiarity with enrollment management CRM platforms (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, etc.), content creation tools (e.g., Canva), or similar systems.
