| Primary Purpose of Department | The mission of the Athletic Department at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is to operate within the perspective of the overall educational program. | Primary Purpose of Position | The Director of Marketing & Revenue Generation is responsible for creating a first-class marketing experience for all athletics stakeholders through the implementation of fan engagement and revenue generation strategies and tactics. The position will be responsible for all Football marketing and game presentation duties, as well as other sports as assigned. This position will support digital initiatives, including email and digital marketing campaigns and data analytics. The individual will be responsible for driving revenue through comprehensive marketing communication strategies and the creation of captivating fan experiences. The position will collaborate with Creative, Ticket Operations, Ticket Sales, Fundraising, Communications, Sponsorship, and other auxiliaries and partnerships to build and execute strategic plans for Football and other ticketed sports that focus on driving revenue, attendance, and engagement. |

| Minimum Education/Experience | A Bachelor's Degree, two years of relevant work experience in collegiate marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience | Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to engage with varying stakeholders. Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Night and weekend work required. |
