As a hockey camp counselor you will teach a wide range of hockey abilities to campers of all ages, from the beginners to the pros. You will be responsible for coaching campers on their skating, passing, shooting, and, most importantly, teamwork. Counselors will work directly with the UNH Coaching staff and the campers to ensure a fun and exciting day camp experience.
Duties/Responsibilities
The University of New Hampshire is an R1 Carnegie classification research institution providing comprehensive, high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs of distinction. UNH is located in Durham on a 188-acre campus, 60 miles north of Boston and 8 miles from the Atlantic coast and is convenient to New Hampshire’s lakes and mountains. There is a student enrollment of 13,000 students, with a full-time faculty of over 600, offering 90 undergraduate and more than 70 graduate programs. - (50%) Working with campers during on-ice drills and games
- (50%) Leading off-ice activities and ensuring that each camper is accounted for during each event
- Current UNH Women’s Ice Hockey Coaches
- Is a current, former, or future UNH Women’s Hockey player (not required but encouraged)
