Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
The University of New Hampshire is an R1 Carnegie classification research institution providing comprehensive, high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs of distinction. UNH is located in Durham on a 188-acre campus, 60 miles north of Boston and 8 miles from the Atlantic coast and is convenient to New Hampshire’s lakes and mountains. Duties/Responsibilities
Coaching and Skill Development (80%)
- Lead and instruct players in the fundamentals of volleyball, including passing, setting, serving, attacking, blocking, and defense.
- Provide individual and group coaching to ensure player development and improvement.
- Create and implement structured, age-appropriate practice plans focused on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
- Incorporate a variety of drills that emphasize technical skills, physical conditioning, and volleyball IQ.
- Assess each camper’s individual progress throughout the camp.
- Provide constructive feedback to campers and parents regarding strengths, areas for improvement, and future development.
- Adapt coaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of each camper.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
- This position will be open to individuals who have experience coaching at elite levels for volleyball.
