In the Athletic Trainer role, you will evaluate the physical condition of the athletes. A key element in this role is to maintain deep knowledge of techniques for treating sports injuries so you have multiple options to recommend to injured players. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the swift recovery of injured athletes in your charge, and by the reduction of injuries through proper training and conditioning.

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

- Present to assist in any needs during camp
- Treats in-camp injuries
- Designs rehabilitation programs
- Informs injured players’ families of athletes’ condition
- Monitors progress
- Maintains records
- Plans preventive measures
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or any related field
- Valid certification or state license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- Pays strong attention to detail
- Background in sports injuries and proper nutrition
- Physically fit
