The research position(s) are within the broad area of biophysics, structural modeling, and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, where the dynamics and interactions in biomolecular systems are to be studied. Researcher(s) will work in the laboratory of Dr. Harish Vashisth in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. The researcher(s) will be provided access to state-of-the-art supercomputing facilities with advanced GPU and data storage capabilities. Additionally, opportunities will be available for collaborations.

Duties/Responsibilities
- The primary duties associated with the position involve conducting research on biomolecular and biophysical systems including proteins, nucleic acids, or small molecules, prepare and publish journal manuscripts, and present research at conferences.
- Doctoral degree and previous postdoctoral experience is required.
- The candidate should have a strong background and training in theory and computational science related to molecular biophysics and biomolecular modeling, and should have significant prior research experience and publications in simulations of biomolecular systems and MD simulation software.
- The candidates should hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics, or in a related interdisciplinary field.
- Experience with AI and machine learning tools is preferred.
