What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator of Data and Assessment position at University of Louisiana Monroe?
The Coordinator of Data and Assessment oversees data collection and management for the School of Education (SOE) and edits the content of the SOE website. This position is vital to the School of Education’s accreditation efforts, working with the CAEP Coordinator and SOE Director to write accreditation reports and develop data and measures for CAEP reports, as well as administer the external electronic portfolio tool.
-Facilitate the use of institutional data in planning and decision-making.
-Work with the School of Education Director and CAEP Coordinator to develop measures and indicators for assessment and co-construct accreditation reports.
-Serve as a member of various committees addressing assessment.
-Work with administrators and faculty in the development, administration and analysis of data and prepare reports as required for academic departments, administration, and external agencies.
-Serve as the Title II coordinator for the university.
-Serve as web editor for the School of Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred).
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,etc.
- Skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Basic understanding of campus systems, i.e. Banner, INB, Argos, etc.
- Understanding of database principles and the ability to administer external electronic portfolio tool (Watermark Student Learning & Licensure).
- Strong ability to work alone and adhere to critical deadlines schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Excellent writing skills.
Salary : $45,000 - $48,000
